Hispanic Communicators - DFW

Dallas-Fort Worth Chapter of NAHJ - Founded in 1981, the Network supports Hispanic working print, broadcast journalists and public relations professionals.

Hispanic Communicators DFW is an organization of journalists, PR and advertising professionals, educators, students and others committed to the fields of communication.  We believe in furthering the visibility and role of Hispanics within these fields.

We’ve been around a long time.  We started in 1981 as the Network of Hispanic Communicators.  Since then we’ve been influential in the development of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists (NAHJ) and other communications organizations.  Today, we are the official Dallas/Fort Worth chapter of the NAHJ.

We are a non-profit, non-partisan organization.  Some of our members are full-time employees of area newspapers, television
stations, advertising firms, PR agencies and universities.  Others are freelancers or students looking to start their careers.
